New Huawei vertical foldable may sport quad-camera setup, five colors

Huawei will launch its new vertical foldable smartphone on March 20 in eye-catching colors and a powerful camera setup. The latest information has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming folding device before its official release.

Pocket 3 or the Pura foldable will exhibit an extraordinary form factor. As per the company’s executive, the device will adopt a design that no one could dare to create.

Now, @UncleKanshan says that the device may offer five color schemes. These can be Moon Shadow Gray, Zero Degree White, Phantom Night Black, Stylish Red, and Stylish Green.

The first three shades (gray, white, and black) will likely feature a glass back cover, whereas the last (luxurious red and green) could use a plain leather design.

Apart from colors, the upcoming Huawei vertical foldable phone could use a quad-camera setup just like its predecessors. But the parameters and lens arrangement may vary. It’s unclear if the device will use a square or a circular cover screen.

Speaking of quad-camera systems, the device may use 50MP + 10MP + 8MP + 1.5MP lenses. On the front side, it could sport a 60MP selfie camera with new features.

The rear camera specs are somewhat similar to the previous-gen model. But we may witness a drastic change in the selfie snapper. (Pocket 2 has a 10.7MP selfie camera)

Other inputs reveal that the new vertical foldable device could provide 66W fast charging as well as a collector’s edition, probably the Custom Art version.

As mentioned earlier, the company may change the device name from Pocket to Pura this time. If true, we can expect various Pro-grade features and new AI capabilities with the upcoming clamshell product. Stay tuned for March 20.
