New Huawei openEuler operating system launch on September 25

In September 2019, Huawei officially announces the openEuler as open-source and brings the openEuler 20.03 LTS edition in 2020. Now, the company is going to launch the new Huawei openEuler operating system on September 25 at 09:00 (GMT +8)

Before this announcement, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei also stated on this matter informing Euler is putting more effort into strengthening the digital infrastructures and providing it with a sustained and reliable foundation.

As per the information, the new openEuler operating system, the open-source and free Linux distribution platform that offers an open community for developers worldwide is now set to take the multi-core complex computing industry to the next level.

 openEuler 20.03 LTS

Previously, Huawei confirmed openEuler upgrade plan, openEuler 22.03 will be released next year and it’ll be based on Linux kernel 5.10. Huawei ranks 1st in the contribution of the Linux Kernel 5.10 patches, and the total contribution of Linux Kernel 5.6-5.11 code accounts for 5.8%, ranking in the top 3.
