Huawei Gallery New Feature beta Testing

Huawei has started testing a new version of its Gallery mobile app. According to the public test information, this new beta version of Gallery adds a new GIF logo display, document correction as well as support for a magnifying glass.

Also, the latest Gallery version has new optimizations to provide a better user experience. To be mentioned, the latest Gallery app has been initiated test version for HarmonyOS 2.0 but also supports EMUI 11. The app version is 11.0.13.386 with an app size of 78.9MB.

The Huawei Gallery app can automatically and smartly organize photos and videos. The AI-powered feature of this app intelligently chooses and makes a unified album for your top moments.

The app comes pre-installed on Huawei devices and can synchronize your media data among different devices through cloud service.

New Features of Huawei Gallery App:

  • GIF logo display. GIF format pictures are newly added to display the GIF logo, which can more intuitively identify GIF resources.
  • Document correction supports the magnifying glass. When dragging the selection box in the document correction mode, a magnifying glass display is added to position the document more accurately.
  • External selection optimization. When some apps support selecting gallery photos, you can choose cloud photos as the material. (Such as text messages, contacts, memos, etc.)
