New-gen Huawei small tablet tipped to bring impressive battery life

Huawei will seemingly elevate the battery life of the upcoming MatePad small tablet. A new leak suggests that the company is making significant improvements in the rumored 8.8-inch screen device to boost the overall user experience.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus reveals that the Huawei MatePad small tablet with an 8.8-inch screen will soon debut on the consumer platform, but not next month.
Adding more to the details, the tipster said that the launch time of the new MatePad tablet is still unclear. Huawei can either unveil it alongside the flagship Pura 80 series or postpone the launch until the second half of the year.
On the flip side, the tipster mentioned that the new Huawei small tablet will feature impressive battery life. The device has been in internal testing for a while, and many users suggested that the tablet will deliver improved performance.
Early inputs reveal that Huawei will focus primarily on office efficiency rather than gaming with the new-gen small tablet. Yet, the productivity will be at its peak with the upcoming device, and there will be no compromise on the battery.

Apart from the battery life, the device is also said to feature a thin enough design with a sleek and lightweight feel. It will offer an “easy-to-hold” and comfortable experience.
Previous details say that the new-gen Huawei small tablet will feature a 16:10 OLED screen, just like the Pura X foldable phone. The company will further upgrade the reading and office collaboration experience with the small-screen device.
Another rumor related to the device is that it can equip a Kirin 9020 chip, probably a downclocked version, to bring a robust performance on board. Other details are unclear at present, though we may find more revelations on this matter in the coming days.
