HarmonyOS is a prime operating system of Huawei, the company has developed this software for various use cases including its insertion in the smartphone. The company is playing wide in terms of installation, which has now reached over 300 million hardware as of today.

This figure includes both in-house and third-party smart devices as well as smart car systems. Speaking of which, the latest inputs on this matter reveals that new smart device maker companies are planning to use HarmonyOS in their devices.

According to a well-known Weibo tipster – at least 3 to 4 companies that have started planning their own version of HarmonyOS operation system solutions. Such solutions will be used in their products and launch pre-installed.

As mentioned by the Chinese tech maker itself, HarmonyOS will be used widely in the tech industry, and the tech players will surely use it for long term use cases instead of going for short term.

During the Huawei P60 series launch event, Huawei Smart Car Business Cheif, Yu Chengdong announced that all AITO smart car models will get HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system by the end of this month.

HarmonyOS 3 for these AITO M5 cars will bring new features including a super home screen and smart car search. The net recommendation score of Huawei M5 car owners is 86.4%

Huawei also announced that the M5 and M5 EV high-end autonomous driving versions will launch in April, which won’t need high-precision maps. Yu Chengdong said that Huawei should be far ahead in the field of the smart cockpit and smart driving.
