After the launch of the Huawei Mate 60 series, Huawei is preparing for more of the 5G products later this year, says a tipster.

DigitalChatStation revealed that a new Kirin chipset will be used in the MatePad, Pocket, and Nova series. However, the product unveiling date is not shared. However, the tipster is sure that there are new 5G Kirin products heading our way in 2023.

For those who don’t know, Huawei MatePad is a tablet series, which may soon enjoy 5G speed. The Pocket lineup is known for its flip-style folding mechanism, which is different from side folding. Yesterday, Huawei released Mate X5 and the speed test result shows that the phone is running a 5G chip. Therefore, flip phones are the next target.

Next comes the Nova series, Huawei Nova 11 series uses a Snapdragon chip but only with 4G. However, the Nova 12 series could change the game for Huawei similar to the Mate 60 series.

Meanwhile, Huawei is silent on any talks about 5G products but the actions don’t seem to need any statement. Since we’ve already seen the Mate 60 series, the company may hold one more launch conference by the end of this year.

December might be the right time to conduct a launch event or even before. We’ll have to wait for more details on this matter. But it’s interesting to wait and see what more Huawei is planning to unveil with these new 5G Kirin products this year.
