Major Huawei Watch GT 2e software update is reaching to more users

Huawei is expanding the latest December 2021 major firmware update for Huawei Watch GT 2e global users. However, this update was initially rolled out last week and since then, it is continuously reaching more and more Watch GT 2e smartwatch owners.

This Huawei Watch 2e major update brings the latest features including new sunrise and sunset display for outdoors workouts as well as enables the AOD features during workouts for you to view your workout data in real-time.

In addition to this, optimizations for system performance and stability for smoother actions on your wrist. Furthermore, to enjoy new features offers by the major update, the Watch GT 2e smartwatch user needs to upgrade over the firmware version 11.0.14.26.

To be mentioned, this update comes with an update package size of 216MB. Before updating, you should know that it is a major update, so it may take some to complete the installation process. During the update, do not disconnect the Bluetooth connections

How to update:

To update your Huawei Watch GT 2e on the latest firmware, please head towards your phone with the Huawei Health app. Find your connected device inside the app, tap on the device, select your Watch name and proceed toward the update section. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:

It’s recommended for you to update the Huawei Health app first before heading towards the upgrade section. Maintain more than 20% of battery level in the wearable and keep patient while upgrading.
