Huawei HarmonyOS PC live images imply that the device will run on the Kirin X90 chip. The company has unveiled the new notebook at a recently held event, where some tipsters found that it equips a powerful self-developed Kirin processor.

A few tipsters shared the PC information page on Weibo, revealing that the HarmonyOS PC packs a Kirin X90 chip. As per leaked info, the new chipset offers a smooth and significant performance boost to the device, making it a perfect notebook.

On the other hand, DigitalChatStation shared the details of the new Kirin X90 chip. The tipster says the processor has a similar CPU architecture to the Kirin 9010.

Although the difference lies in the performance. The Chinese tech giant has enhanced a few cores of the latest chip to deliver PC-level performance on board.

The tipster further reveals that the Kirin X90 is a 10-core chipset with a 4+4+2 configuration. It supports more than 20 threads via hyperthreading. The chip also meets the Chinese cryptography standards like SM3 and SM4.

Kirin X90 is codenamed Charlotte Pro. Interestingly, the standard Huawei Mate 70 processor (Kirin 9010) is codenamed Charlotte. Hence, we can expect that the new chipset will deliver improved and robust performance to HarmonyOS PC.

Huawei Kirin X90 chip has already made its way to the China Information Security Evaluation Center listing. Early inputs reveal that the chip may support an improved graphics processor unit – Maleoon 920.
