Today, a live image of an unreleased Huawei phone has appeared on Weibo featuring a full-view no-notch display, the phone may launch as Huawei Maimag 9 in China and likely to be unveiled alongside Huawei Enjoy 20.
It has the model number FRL-AN00a and according to a previous report, it’ll equip Kirin 820 5G chipset, pop-up selfie camera, side fingerprint scanner, and EMUI 10.1 (Android 10).
Also, an image related to this phone reveals that it’ll come with a circular shaped camera design consisting of triple cameras and an LED light.
The model in the live shot has 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. There could also be a low RAM version, while more specs are not yet clear at the moment.
Launched last year, Huawei Maimang 8 features a 6.21-inch dewdrop display, triple rear camera, EMUI 9.0, and powered by Kirin 710. So the main upgrade on the upcoming Maimang 9 could be promoted as 5G NSA/SA connectivity provided by the new 7nm chipset.
Currently, Huawei has not officially confirmed the launch date of this device but it may launch later this month in China.
