Honor has now confirmed its CEO – Zhao Ming is leaving the company. After several rumors, the firm announced the news on its internal website. The ex-CEO shared some thoughts on his departure and gave best wishes for the company’s future.

Zhao Ming said that leaving Honor had been the most difficult decision he’d ever made in his life. He has served the brand for more than 10 years in all fields.

The executive adds that many brothers and sisters in the company worked side by side with him. Together, they have always given their best for Honor’s growth.

He expressed regression on leaving the company at a point when it requires systematic solutions. But Zhao wished for the best future and new heights to Honor.

“The company’s four-year growth required systematic solutions to some problems, and I regret that I can’t lead everyone in the transformation. No matter what, my biggest wish is for Honor to move forward quickly.”

10 years: Ups and Downs

Zhao further revealed how he has seen several ups and downs in the market but has been dedicated to fighting and surviving. 2024 appeared as a good year for the company and the executive looks to more development in 2025.

What Zhao will do next? Well, the former CEO said that he would rest and learn. He added that he would like to adjust and repair his overwhelmed body, accompany his family, read books, and make more improvements in himself.

The Honor Devices’ former executive – Zhao Ming joined Huawei after his graduation and worked there for 27 years. After the division of Honor from its parent firm, Zhao decided to give a new identity to Honor, working in the company for 10 years.
