July 2021 update for Huawei Enjoy 20 SE, Enjoy 10, Enjoys 10S and more

Huawei’s July 2021 security update is making its way to a bunch of devices running EMUI software. Adding to this, the company has released this security patch for Enjoy 20, Enjoy 10, and Honor Play 3e smartphones.

Below you can check all of the models adapted with this security update.

• Huawei Enjoy 20 SE: Latest EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.162 upgraded from version 10.1.1.161
• Huawei Enjoy 10S: Latest EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.171 upgraded from version 10.1.0.170
• Huawei Enjoy 10: EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.1.212 upgraded from version 9.1.1.211
• Honor Play 3e: EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.197 upgraded from version 9.1.0.195

Things to remember:

Before updating the smartphones, the users should make sure that their phone is not rooted. This update won’t erase personal data, but we recommend you take a backup in advance.

Also, maintain enough battery and storage on the device and follow the update instructions carefully. The update is released in batches, so it may take time to reach your device.

How to check for updates:

Via Settings:

• Open Settings >> System & updates
• Tap on Software update
• Select Check for updates and if found any then hit the Download and install

Via Support app:

• Alternatively, you can also download software updates using the Support app. To do so:
• Open Support app >> tap Service tab on the bottom bar >> then click on Update button.
• Now select Check for updates, and then press Download and install.

Huawei Enjoy 20 SE: 

Huawei Enjoy 20 SE comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolutions. It equips a triple rear camera setup with 13MP+8MP+2MP camera lenses. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.

This device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. In terms of software, it comes pre-packed with Android 10 based EMUI 10.1.

The Enjoy 20 SE is powered by the Kirin 710A octa-core processor, paired with 4GGB and 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage. The other features include USB Type-C, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and more.
