iPhone 14 is a real change for Apple customers?

iPhone 14 is an upcoming smartphone installment from Apple, and it becomes a buzzword on the internet, whenever a leak or news surfaces regarding this new iPhone lineup. Speaking of which, iPhone 14 is reportedly in the works with lots of effort and Apple has installed a number of new hardware and software changes to bring a whole new device but our question is, whether iPhone 14 is the real change for Apple customers? Let’s look at the information that we currently have regarding this Apple flagship.

Variants and Design:

iPhone 14 could come in four variants – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The initial two models come 6.1-inch display and the later mentioned models feature 6.7-inch panels.

But, the Pro models will have higher advantages in specs over the non-pro models. Adding to this, the iPhone 14 lineup may not bring any mini model this year.

On the design side, iPhone 14 will bring the traditional colors of the iPhone 13 but it could install the new titanium alloy frame, which is scratch-resistant and stronger than both steel and aluminum.

Cameras:

As compared to the iPhone 13s, iPhone 14 is likely to remove the camera bump on the rear side, which means you may not see that large camera square shape in the upcoming iPhone 14 models. However, that’s the one thing that we need to confirm.

Well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that iPhone 14 Pro models will feature a 48MP main camera, which is upgrading from 12MP in standard models. This could be a game-changer for the iPhone 14 users and may reflect the clear change between the two devices. Kuo also suggests that iPhone 14 will also support 8K video recording.

Display and notch and holes:

Yes, it’s an interesting section, we’re heading towards the display. The display leaks and renders of the iPhone 14 have gathered a lot of attention from the tech community and consumers. People are really curious to know whether the surfaced renders are true.

According to the leaks so far, iPhone 14 Pro models will equip a new display panel with a brand new design featuring a large pill shape and a single circle cutout to house a selfie camera as well as face ID sensors.

This is quite a change that we could assume to wait, as it’ll remove the so-called notch design that was first introduced in 2017, and with iPhone 13 models, it is tweaked to the lowest.

A16 and A15:

Unlike the previous generation of iPhones, iPhone 14 series won’t bring the new A16 Bionic chipset in all of the iPhone 14 models. Instead, the Pro models will equip A16 and the standard models will feature last year’s A15 chipsets, which are still far ahead of all of the processors in the Android world.
