In 2021, 5G demand will grow rapidly and exceed 500 million users in China: Predicts Huawei Official

It is reported that Huawei will participate World Mobile Congress (MWC) 2021, which is scheduled to starts on February 23 and end on February 25. The company will reveal a wide range of products and solutions including a 5G super blade station.

Now, at Huawei World Mobile Congress 2021 pre-communication meeting, Huawei’s wireless network product line Vice President, Gan Bin said the global 5G network deployment has now entered the fast lane. He also mentioned that this year the number of 5G users will cross 500 million.

He also assumes that the 5G network will experience medium and heavy loads. The increase rate of 5G users in China will reach 30% in 2021, 42.9% in 2022, 56.8% in 2023, 70.4% in 2024, and 81.7% in 2025.

Bin also discloses that at MWC, Huawei will hold a full-scenario and full-series solution conference, and iterate on the 1+N minimalist 5G target network.
