HyperOS 2.1 global update rolling out for these 5 devices

HyperOS 2.1 update is live in the global market and rolling out to 5 flagship Xiaomi devices. The company initially released the version with one of its top-end models. Now, it has released the major software upgrade to more eligible handsets.
The new HyperOS 2.1 upgrade is a modified version of the 2.0. It brings many AI features, UI changes, and customizations that make your phone more efficient. It also improves the camera and gallery aspects for a better user experience.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra was the first smartphone to get the HyperOS 2.1 global build. Now the company is expanding the reach of the new firmware to more phones and a tablet.
The list includes three Xiaomi smartphones, one Xiaomi tablet, and a POCO handset. You can check the models that are receiving the significant rollout, below.

- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14T Pro
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4
- POCO X6 Pro 5G
As per the changelog, the HyperOS 2.1 version features smoother animations, quick app launches, new layouts for the home screen, redesigned Control Center, improved gaming performance, and fixes to certain issues found in the previous build.
How to download?
Xiaomi is rolling out the major HyperOS 2.1 update through OTA. Thus, it will take time to cover all eligible units. In case you haven’t received the new firmware alert, visit the update section of the device and install the latest version manually.
Make sure to have sufficient storage space and battery level in your device before installing the new build. The Android 15-based firmware may vary in size, depending on the region and model. Hence, use a stable Wi-Fi or internet connection.
