A week ago, render of a new Huawei tablet surfaced, showing small screen bezels, dual rear camera and hole-punch display, a display type that we’ve seen in smartphones but first in a tablet.

Today, the tipster Evan Blass on Twitter posted a fresh render of this upcoming tablet featuring the punch hole design, as well as accessories and called it “Huawei MatePad Pro”.

Other than render, the “MatePad” suggests that Huawei may be planning to change its MediaPad series to the MatePad series.

However, it’s yet to confirmed officially but why not? Because Huawei already create Mate series in Laptop series and smartphones and changing the name for tablets series from MediaPad to MatePad makes sense.

Since this a pro version there could also be a non-pro version with low specs.

According to the previous information, the tablet expected to come with a dual rear camera, powered by Kirin 990 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, and supports new M Pen stylus.
