Huawei Mate Xs foldable smartphone running on EMUI 12 has begun collecting the April 2022 firmware update in the global market. However, this software update includes two packages of which one is a system patch and the other is a security update.

As reported by Huaweiblog, Huawei Mate Xs smartphone’s April 2022 firmware update arrives with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.236 (C432E4R2P4). At present, this update is spotted in Europe and soon expand to more regions.

How to check for updates manually:

To check for updates, go to the settings menu, click on system & updates, and then software updates. Afterward, tap on check for updates and wait for a while. Let the phone connect to the server and fetch the latest available update for you.

Alternatively, you can perform the same task through the My Huawei app. Go to the My Huawei app installed on the smartphone and visit the support sections. Now, click on the update icon and follow on-screen instructions.
