Huawei will bring 90W super fast smartphone charger, suggests new leak

Today, a Weibo tipster came up with very interesting news about smartphone charger. He mentioned that Huawei has a 90W fast phone charger, which is currently under development.

Moreover, its wired or wireless charging speeds will usher in a major upgrade. Aside from this, the tipster has not revealed any other information related to this subject.

At Huawei Mate 40 launch conference, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Richard Yu said that Huawei has achieved 120W or even 200W super-fast charging technology. But, currently 66W fast charging is the most suitable for smartphones including the Huawei Mate 40 series.

Huawei Mate 40 flagship smartphone supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, upgrading from 40W wired, and 27W wireless charging.

Previous information reveals that the upcoming P-series flagship, Huawei P50 will reportedly launch on July 29 but its battery specification is still unknown. A few days ago, a new Huawei smartphone has passed 3C certification with model – JAD-AL50 with 66W fast charging.

As per our information, it could be the upcoming Huawei P50 and there’s also a possibility of this being the Nova 9. On the other hand, the fastest wired smartphone charging speed is 120W, which is currently supported by Black Shark 4 Pro and iQOO 7.
