The Huawei Nova 5T takes Kirin 980 HiSilicon chipset. It is an improvement over the Kirin 970 found in the Nova 3, with the 980 having a better overall CPU and GPU. 8GB RAM powers the Nova 5T together with the Kirin 980, enabling users to multitask without worrying about the gadget freezing or lagging.

However, judging the Chinese tech giant’s point of view, they are busy developing and launching the HarmomyOS 3 operating system for Chinese users. New software is also important for the smartphone for the new interface.

Recently, Huawei launched the HarmonyOS 3 operating system and is currently in the beta procedure for the eligible devices, which is Huawei’s major success of the year but it’s only for Chinese models.
