Huawei Watch GT 5 Gold Milanese coming to Malaysia on January 15

Huawei has announced to launch a new Gold Milanese variant for the Watch GT 5 wearable. The new model will debut in Malaysia on January 15, 2025. Meanwhile, the company will gradually expand its reach in more countries in the time ahead.

Standard Watch GT 5 in Malaysia was launched in three colors: Brown, Blue, and White. Now the company is adding a new and elegant gold variant to the wearable.

The company shared a teaser on its official Malaysia X page, saying that it will launch the Watch GT 5 Gold Milanese strap in the country on January 15.

“An elegant Gold color added in for #HUAWEIWATCHGT5, making it the ideal accessory to welcome the Chinese New Year in style. The Huawei Watch GT 5 41mm Gold Milanese Strap is coming soon on 15th January 2025.”

Inputs reveal that the Watch GT 5 Gold Milanese 41mm will cost RM 999. It will be exclusively available in the online Huawei Malaysia store. Consumers may also get a mystery box, a free fluoroelastomer strap, and Huawei Care+ services.

The device will only differ in terms of color. It will highlight a rich gold shade with a Milanese strap. The variant is perfect for female buyers to embrace elegance.

Huawei Watch GT 5

Watch GT 5 41mm measures 41.3 x 41.3 x 9.5mm. It has a wrist size of 120-190mm and weighs around 35 grams (excluding the strap). The wearable equips a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 pixels resolution and 352 PPI.

It has a rotating crown and a side button. Watch GT 5 supports wireless charging and has multiple sensors including the TruSense system. The latest addition ensures offering accurate health reports without taking much time.

The watch also has an Emotional Wellbeing app for your mood detection, a screenshot feature, and 14 days of battery life based on the usage.
