Huawei Watch GT 4 series is coming and there are some new specs of the Watch GT 4 Pro leaked online including a brand new ECG feature. Tipster FixedFocus revealed that the Huawei Watch GT 4 Pro has added a new ECG feature for arrhythmia detection. It could be something different from past generations.

An arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat, is a problem with the rate or rhythm of your heartbeat. The heart may beat too quickly, too slowly, or with an irregular rhythm. It is normal for the heart rate to speed up during physical activity and to slow down while resting or sleeping.

Arrhythmias are reflected on the ECG sign, which depicts the same region regardless of where in the heart they occur, thus, they may be seen in ECG signals. This is how arrhythmias can be detected.

Adding support for arrhythmia detection in the Huawei Watch GT 4’s ECG feature will help consumers get the most out of health management.

The smartwatch also has a new capability in positioning systems for sports activity. Another major improvement is made in the speaker section, which is built with a special waterproofing process. That’s not it, Huawei will pack this smartwatch with new service widgets for the HarmonyOS 4 operating system.

The tipster clearly mentioned that the Huawei Watch GT 4 will come with a stylish frame. Also, it will have green as its main color to reflect the Mate 60 series combination.

To be mentioned, Huawei recently shared the promo poster of the global wearable launch event. It shows two different dials on each corner, one looks like Watch GT Cyber with colored labels and the other is round. Both seem to have custom watch faces designed for the smartwatch.

More of these need to be confirmed as we meet the launch date. But for now, the new ECG addition and these other features will make the launch of the Huawei Watch GT 4 series even more exciting.
