Huawei is rolling out the HarmonyOS 5.0 update for the Watch GT 4 users in global markets. The company is offering a massive changelog to its device owners.

Watch GT 4 is getting the new major upgrade with the HarmonyOS 5.0.0.36 version. It has a software package size of 328 Megabytes. The update has 9 amazing features and 4 enhancements for the wearable that improve the user experience.
The company has enhanced the UI segments and added some more intuitive watch faces to the device. Users will get a new map feature that will let them download the map and use it offline. They can check real-time positions and navigations.
One can also screenshot the watch’s screen and save the snap in the phone’s gallery. You can share this screenshot with your friends easily. Other tools include a new calculator app, Smart Suggestions feature, and a new log meal calorie chart.

- Added support for wrist-based running form analysis, which tracks advanced metrics like ground contact time balance and vertical oscillation, and provides tips to help you optimize your form and reduce injury risk.
- Added an input method on the watch that can be used to edit alarm names and reply to SMS messages.
- Added a workout linking feature for cycling modes. It allows the watch to automatically connect to your phone when you start a cycling session on the wearable to get an enhanced real-time data display on both devices. (This feature is only available when paired with a Huawei phone.)
- Added the calculator app and provides convenient calculations on your wrist.
- Added Smart Suggestions feature that recommends daily workouts based on weather information, exercise preferences, and calorie data.
- Added a feature to quickly log meal calories under today’s intake data in the Stay Fit app to help you eat a balanced and healthy diet.
