Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is the latest smartwatch offering from Huawei and comes with a new titanium design + sapphire glass. The watch also offers plenty of health and sports features to keep users fit.

Although, Huawei has pre-installed required apps on this watch but a tipster from Weibo suggests that the watch will also support distributed technology features such as screen sharing.

According to the information, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro supports third-party applications but it may be different than usual. Instead of downloading them directly from AppGallery, users will have to connect the watch to a smartphone to use its increased processing power.

Then, the watch’s display can be used as a second screen to mirror the content from the smartphone. The tipster also revealed that this new feature is currently being tested by Huawei and it’s not confirmed when Huawei will roll it out on Watch GT 2 Pro devices.

It’ll be awesome to see such a feature if Huawei really planning to bring it on actual devices and we can’t wait to test it out.

The screen sharing feature is a part of Huawei’s seamless AI connectivity and powered by distributed technologies. It was initially introduced last year with EMUI 10.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro Specifications:

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro offers 32MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. It packs with a 455mAh battery to deliver battery life up to 14 days.

The Kirin A1 chip ensures high operation performance and incredibly low power consumption and Bluetooth 5.1 for connection purposes.

With features such as stress monitoring and SpO2 level measuring, the Watch GT 2 Pro is a constant health companion and will help in ensuring that users have an active and healthy lifestyle throughout with over 100 workout modes.

Huawei has introduced new workout modes including Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Golf Driving Range. These join the existing range to provide users with real-time performance tracking and analyses for professional sports.
