Huawei Watch Fit 4 series launched in China with ultra-thin design

Huawei today launched the Watch Fit 4 series in China. For the first time, the new-gen Fit lineup contains a Pro variant with extraordinary features and key specifications. Alongside, the two models are good enough to rival the Apple Watch Ultra.

Watch Fit 4 series has stepped into the global launch stage last week. As of now, the company is bringing the amazing FIT wearables to its Chinese consumers.

Design

The Standard Watch Fit 4 appears with a slimmed-down design for comfort and beautiful straps. It has a 43 x 38 x 9.5mm dimension and weighs 27 grams. The wearable is sleek and stylish, as well as reflects a 3D wing-like design on the sides.

It has a rotating crown and a function button separated by a small bump in the middle. The device is available in five shades: Black, White, Purple, Silver, and Green.

Watch Fit 4 Pro: The Pro version measures 44.5 x 40 x 9.3mm with a 30.4 gram weight. It comes in three colors: Black, Blue, and Green. It features a nylon strap for the green version and fluoroelastomer straps for the other two color options.

Huawei has used three-layer protection for the Watch Fit 4 Pro with a new titanium alloy bezel + aluminum alloy casing + sapphire screen for hardness and durability.

Specifications

Huawei Watch Fit 4 series features a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with 480 x 408 pixels resolution and 347 PPI. The standard version has a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, while the Pro variant exhibits 3000 nits to let you check your wearable even in direct sunlight.

Standard Watch Fit 4 uses an aluminum alloy casing. Although the Pro model uses aluminum alloy for the mid-frame and titanium alloy for the bezel.

Both models support wireless charging and are compatible with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices. These are waterproof wearables with a 5ATM level.

Internal Features

Watch Fit 4 series comes with built-in stickers for watch faces. Users can customize the watch faces by adding various stickers like custom, emoji, pet, and geometric shapes. There are various styles and features to choose from: Arctic Rays, Dusk Silhouette, or a DIY Gallery Watch face.

New Barometer: Huawei Watch Fit 4 series supports an upgraded, robust barometer that shows sensitive environmental data details, sends alerts based on altitude, accumulated ascent, and air pressure. It also offers real-time data on cadence, distance, heart rate, calories burned, route tracking, and more.

Health Management & Fitness

It is worth mentioning that Huawei has integrated the TruSense health setup into the Watch Fit 4 (not supported for the standard model). It is now capable of monitoring six major systems, like the respiratory, nervous, and endocrine systems.

The Pro variant also supports ECG App, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia analysis over the standard sibling. Emotional Wellbeing app is available on both models to detect the mood/emotions of users and advise them on breathing or relaxing exercises.

Watch Fit 4 series support Health Insights to share the next-level guidance on healthier lifestyles – from tips on managing stress to advice on improving sleep and optimizing workouts.

Fitness: Watch Fit 4 series supports mountaineering, hiking, skiing, cross-country running, stair climbing, sailing, surfing, kayaking, motorboat, rowing, and other sports modes. It also brings a new golf course mode to enhance golf experience.

It also has the Sunflower Positioning System that tracks distance in real-time and supports colorful movement trajectory, thanks to improved satellite search speed that results in accurate positioning in seconds.

Other features include built-in new stickers for watch faces with cute pets, emojis, and more. You can customize them accordingly. Heart Health research, Sleep or Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen monitoring, Plateau Health research, and menstrual cycle management are some other useful tools in the device.

Battery:

Watch Fit 4 series packs a 400mAh battery with wireless charging, waterproof 5 ATM. The battery life for the standard and Pro variants is 10 days (4 days with AOD turned on). The standard one gets charged for 75 minutes, whereas the Pro model takes 60 minutes to fill the battery capacity.

Price and Availability:

Huawei Watch Fit 4 launched in China with a price tag of 949 yuan (the Silver variant costs 1099 yuan). Meanwhile, the Watch Fit 4 Pro starts at 2099 yuan (2199 yuan for the green color option). It will enter the pre-sale lane today.
