Huawei Watch D2 gets January 2025 update with a new keyboard

Huawei is rolling out a new January 2025 update for the Watch D2 wearable. It brings new enhancements to the smartwatch and makes it more stable for daily operations. But the biggest highlight of this firmware is a brand-new keyboard.
The company has now added a new keyboard to the blood pressure monitoring watch. This addition will eventually help users to edit the alarms as per their preference.
On the flip side, users can edit the names of their contacts or reply to messages using this keyboard. One can simply opt for certain typing operations without even opening their phone. It makes the user experience more convenient and easier.
Further inputs reveal optimizations for the system’s stability in certain situations. Users may observe better performance than the previous version. They may also get rid of hidden bugs and issues that often interrupt the device’s fluency.
According to the changelog, the Huawei Watch D2 is receiving the new January 2025 update with the HarmonyOS 5.0.0.197 version. It also has a software package of 55.93 Megabytes. You can check the complete changelog below.
