Huawei unveils Router X1/Pro with Wi-Fi 7, Nearlink, and more

Huawei today unveiled its Router X1/Pro models with a premium design, Wi-Fi 7 technology, and top-notch features. It supports Lingxi antenna and has built-in Nearlink gateway to deliver strong and seamless connectivity experience to users.

The company has used a cylindrical design for its new routers and placed 11 built-in antennas combined with a smart scheduling algorithm to achieve 360-degree all-round coverage. It auto-adjusts the antenna to enhance directional signals.

Although the difference is in the appearance. The standard variant has an opaque body, while the Pro version has a transparent upper part, giving a Pro-like feel.

The standard router is available in black and measures 220.7 x 109mm. It weighs 854 grams and supports 2.4G WLAN with 13 channels as well as 5G capability.

On the other hand, the Pro variant has a dimension of 227.2 x 115.4mm. It weighs 957 grams. The rest of the specifications are the same in both models.

Huawei Router X1/Pro supports Firewall security management, child online protection such as time limit, payment limit, game limit, video and social limit, and Wi-Fi security management. They have 512MB RAM + 128MB ROM, power consumption less than 18W, and high gain + smart antennas.

Both models run on Lingxiao chip, which has a powerful built-in CPU and AI-based NPU for stronger computing power and performance. On the flip side, the Class IV high-performance signal amplifiers effectively improve signal strength and sensitivity.

Thus, the tech makes it easier for signals to penetrate walls and provides wider coverage. Both models equip 2.5GE network ports to support PCs and game consoles.

Besides, Huawei Router X1/Pro comes with Wi-Fi 7 power with improved anti-intereference performance, flexible scheduling, and lower latency.

Huawei Router X1/Pro has Nearlink Gateway that supports multiple connection protocols, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and is compatible with HarmonyOS Smart Connection devices. It offers 6x faster data transfer, 2x wider coverage, improved interference immunity by 7dB9, and reduced latency by 37%.

Price and Availability
