Huawei UK says ‘EMUI 10 and Android Q are coming to the Huawei P30 series’

At HDC 2019, Huawei announced the next version of EMUI OS – EMUI 10. In the event, the company said, EMUI 10 beta is coming for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro on September 8, 2019. It will be the first Huawei smartphone series to receive EMUI 10 beta update.

In a recent tweet from Huawei UK, the company said, Have you heard? EMUI 10 and Android Q are coming to the Huawei P30 series.

Huawei UK also shared a screenshot, we can see Huawei P30 Pro (model number VOG-L29), running EMUI 10 beta version (EMUI 10.0.0.42) and it is showing the Android version 10, which is Android Q. This is the same EMUI 10 beta version demonstrated by Huawei at HDC 2019.

We believe, Huawei will roll out the stable update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro just after the launch of Google’s Android 10 Q. There’s a possibility that Huawei may start EMUI 10 beta program early for Huawei P30 series.

Huawei also announced the Mate 20 series will be next to receive the EMUI 10 update.
