Huawei to purchase display panel from Visionox for Honor and Nova smartphones

A Chinese flexible display maker – Visionox is reportedly chosen to supply display panels for the upcoming Huawei smartphones.

According to the information, Visionox will supply displays for the upcoming Honor and Nova series smartphones to be launched in 2020, reported by GizChina.

Huawei is scheduled to receive the first display samples by February, followed by the mass production starting in March.

Currently, the display maker can produce a limited amount of orders due to its low production capacity and estimated supplies to Huawei can reach from 5 to 10 million units throughout 2020.

Other than Huawei, Visionnox has supplied flexible OLED’s for Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha 350-degree phone and Xiaomi Mi Note 10.

Huawei also buys display for flagship smartphones from another Chinese display making company- BOE, South Korea’s Samsung Display, and LG.
