Huawei releases third-party app improvements update for global MatePad 11

Huawei has released a brand new software update for the global version of the MatePad 11 tablet that comes with new third-party app improvements and better security.

According to the information coming from Huaweiblog, Huawei MatePad 11 is getting new third-party app improvements with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.276. Interestingly, the update package size is 1.19 Gb.

Aside from the app improvements, Huawei MatePad 11 users will experience a new HarmonyOS security patch released in January 2023. Huawei MatePad 11 users are recommended to install the latest firmware as soon as it appears on the notification.

The latest software update will improve the tablet’s performance, hence you can check it via Settings and then System & updates.

The MatePad 11 runs HarmonyOS 2 operating system and it was one of the first ones to enter the global market with this new software.

Speaking of which, Huawei continues to provide new firmware optimizations or a better user experience. However, it would be appreciated if Huawei could keep a track of the major software updates too for the global model.
