Huawei teases a new MatePad tablet for May 15 global launch event

Huawei can unveil a new MatePad tablet at the May 15 global launch event. The company has recently teased another device on its X page, confirming its launch. Apart from wearables, we may find some more interesting products next week.
In the past few days, Huawei has mainly hyped its two premium wearables – Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 Pro. But now, the company has brought another product into the limelight – a new MatePad tablet!
The company hasn’t revealed the device’s name or features yet. Though it has hinted that the new Huawei MatePad tablet will debut at the May 15 global launch event.
Huawei says:
“Stay productive and mobile with a stylus and keyboard that are synced to you. #HuaweiLaunch #HUAWEIMatePad.”

As per the video teaser, the tablet seems to have a slim, sleek design. It has narrow bezels around the screen. The back has a circular lens bump housed in a thin rim.
The caption and the video imply that it’s quite easy to use the stylus and a detachable keyboard with the new tablet. These accessories can easily sync with the device, making it easier and more convenient for users to stay productive all the time.
Perhaps, the external devices won’t take much time to connect to the new tablet. Also, the keyboard for the new tablet has a slot to keep the stylus in it.
Apart from the stylus, keyboard, and productivity, the video teaser doesn’t highlight any other changes about the new tablet. But the company may share some more teasers about this MatePad tablet ahead of the May 15 launch event.
