Huawei not only looks after innovative technologies for smartphones but also explores new ways to boost smart car solutions. In the latest edition, Huawei details the top 10 smart charging network trends this year and discusses efficient points.

As per the information, Huawei conducted an event on the top 10 trends for the smart charging network in 2024. The motto of this conference was to promote high-quality charging stations on every road in the native region.

Moreover, the President of Huawei Smart Charging Network – Wang Zhiwu elaborated on the 10 major aspects that should be looked forward to in the smart charging network development. Let’s check these notes one by one.

1. High-quality development

The first and foremost step is to focus on the high-quality development of the charging stations with uniform structure and valuable standards. This will contribute to better facilities for consumers.

2. Extensive Overcharging

Majority of auto-makers are switching to third-gen powerful processors, high-density batteries, and robust technologies which also leads to high-voltage overcharging and the number of supercharged models may rise by 60% till 2028.

3. Experience is a Priority

New smart vehicles have started occupying space on the surface. More users are switching to luxurious cars that can offer innovation and convenient experiences. Besides, the charging demand follows the same suit replacing the cost priority.

4. Security and Loyalty

Consumers are now mainly looking for powerful safety features and better network security. Hence, a safe and trustful charging network should pay attention to privacy and safety aspects the car should not catch fire and major operations should not collapse.

5. Vehicle-Network Interaction

The vehicle-network interaction should follow three important strategies: one-way systematic function, one-way response, and two-way interaction for organic results.

6. Power Pooling

The charging infrastructure should cover power pool aspects to fit with the charging power needs of different models. With such process, the smart charging network will increase the charging needs for all vehicles and optimize the utilization of electricity.

7. Liquid Cooling Architecture

The charging infrastructure should implement a liquid cooling mode to decrease the module failure and increase the vehicle lifespan by 10+ years.

8. Slow Charging DC

In comparison to the traditional AC piles, the slow-charging DC helps in faster charging, higher power utilization, and long-term evolution of high-level interaction.

9. Microgrid

With the help of uniform coordination of the power grid, energy storage, and other major components for vehicles, operators would be able to achieve low-price power generation equipment with high-quality benefits.

10. Extensive Intelligence

Charging Stations will become smarter and more intelligent covering main aspects like cloud stations, piles, and vehicles for complete digital facilities and useful maintenance.
