Huawei shipped over 6 million Watch GT 5 units worldwide in five months

Today, Huawei announced a new achievement for its wearable lineup, saying that it has shipped more than 6 million Watch GT 5 units worldwide. It is a new milestone for the company under the smartwatch category, in just five months of launch.
Huawei celebrated this moment with the official launch of the Pura X foldable phone. The company has introduced a new-gen folding device with a wider 16:10 screen.
He Gang – the CEO of Huawei Devices Business Group announced that the global collective shipment figure of the Watch GT 5 series has surpassed 6 million units. It is a surprising achievement as the wearable made it possible is just five months.
Watch GT 5 series went official globally in September last year. It’s unique design, mesmerizing colors, and top-notch features like TruSense, Emotional Wellbeing app, new watch faces, and effective price made it a significant customer choice.

The Watch GT 5 series arrives with a 1.32-inch screen for 41mm and a 1.43-inch display panel for the 46mm variant. The former variant supports a battery life of 8 days while the latter offers strong battery life for 14 days.
It has various health features such as SpO2 monitoring, ECG, sleep and cycle tracking, quick reply, and more than 100 workout modes. Moreover, the watch has dual-band five-system GNSS positioning and Huawei Sunflower positioning system.
