Huawei shipped over 15 million 5G phones with over 33% share of global 5G phone market

Huawei just wrapped up its two days 2020 Global Analysts Summit, and at the conference, Huawei has announced the latest smartphone sales figure of 5G section, which is huge.

According to Huawei, It has sold over 15 million 5G smartphones from 2019 to the first quarter of 2020. Capturing a 33.2% percent share of the global 5G smartphone market. On the other hand, Huawei ranks first in the Chinese market by capturing a large 55.4% share.

As of May 2020, Huawei has launched 19 5G smartphones, including Honor devices, which prices from CNY 2000 ($280) – CNY 16000 ($2250).

According to research from Strategy Analytics, Huawei has shipped 8 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2020. Meanwhile, the total shipment of smartphones recorded 24 million in Q1, 2020.

Huawei is also planning to launch even more 5G devices in the coming months from budget to flagship level.
