Huawei sending new camera update for P30 Series

Amid the news of the EMUI 13 upgrade plan, Huawei is sending a new software update for the P30 series in China, which brings camera improvements. This is an interesting rollout as users previously reported issues related to the camera blur and focusing.

According to the information, Huawei has released this new software version with HarmonyOS firmware 3.0.0.168. Notably, the phone is running the latest HarmonyOS operating system in China amid its confusion for global users. This is now a heated debate as many users are waiting for EMUI 13 in the global market, which we also favor.

This new update for the Huawei P30 series is landing for smartphone models:

The changelog reveals that Huawei is improving the camera effects in some situations with added new optimizations. Yet we don’t have insights into whether it could resolve the existing issues from the Huwaei P30 Pro, which appeared for the past few months now.

Other than the camera, Huawei is improving the display effects of the status bar on the HarmonyOS 3 operating system. The company is seeding new optimizations for device vibration, which is a good tweak for a better user experience.
