Huawei second tri-fold rumored to debut as early as mid-2026

Huawei second tri-fold making plan is still on, but the device may launch as early as mid-2026. If a new-gen triple foldable makes its debut this year, then it will probably bring small surprises rather than major upgrades and improvements.
An early leak suggested that Huawei has suspended the second-gen tri-fold development for now. The exact reason behind this hold was unknown. Yet, a tipster mentioned that the company will focus on other devices and innovative products.
Now, FixedFocus reveals that the second-gen Huawei tri-fold could debut by the end of this year or in the middle of 2026. Since the company already has many products planned for 2025, it may shift the release of the 2nd Mate XT to next year.
The tipster adds that the second-gen Mate XT may bring minor upgrades to the table. The changes will mainly be related to the camera system and Kirin 5G chips.
