Huawei rumored to launch another Nova series later this year

Huawei has just unveiled the Nova 14 series as the most powerful mid-ranger, but it looks like the company has plans to launch another cost-effective lineup later this year. A rumor suggests that the Nova 15 series is on its way.

Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu noted that Huawei has increased the chip production capacity. The company is developing more effective Kirin 5G chipsets for its upcoming flagship, mid-range, and entry-level smartphones.

Further input suggests the company is ramping up its Kirin production, probably for another Huawei Nova smartphone series coming later this year. The tipster adds that the Nova 15 series will launch in the second half of 2025.

The latest rumor is in line with a previous revelation that said the Chinese phone maker will unveil two significant Nova smartphone lineups this year.

Huawei used to upgrade its Nova series more frequently than the Pura or Mate flagship. While the latter lines get a successor after a year, the tech giant introduces new Nova phones within 6 to 10 months.

Perhaps the company can continue this practice this year and launch the Nova 15 models by the end of 2025. Consumers can witness another efficient and cost-effective smartphone series instead of a single Nova lineup in 2025.

This has also raised expectations for the upcoming Nova handsets. Nova 14 series has landed on the ground as one of the best mid-range lineups in the Huawei family. It brings three models: Standard, Pro, and Ultra to the table.

All three variants have a beautiful design and remarkable features. The high-end models – Nova 14 Ultra exclusively support advanced satellite communication. Kirin 8020 chip for the Pro and Ultra models matches the 9010 performance level.

Huawei has also enhanced camera capabilities for its newly launched smartphones. The device has a new front zoom camera that offers the best and detailed portraits even if the phone is slightly away from you.
