Huawei rumored to launch a stunning ‘foldable PC’ this month

After an innovative vertical folding phone, Huawei is now rumored to bring a “foldable PC” later this month. Looks like the company is working on another incredible product that might debut alongside the Nova 14 series smartphones.

FixedFocus says that Huawei is seemingly preparing a new foldable PC to launch this month. Another tipster in the comment section says that the company will unveil this innovative device at the Nova 14 smartphone release conference.

The term “folding PC” suggests that Huawei is exploring an interesting form factor for its notebooks. The tech giant recently introduced a wide-screen and small flip-flop smartphone, Pura X, gaining a lot of attention in the market.

Now it aims to bring new changes to the PC lineup, including an incredible form factor. Following the leak, some netizens speculated that a folding PC can skip a “physical keyboard” and may remain a purely touch-screen device.

Foldable PC isn’t a new thing in the market. Based on the internet, brands like Asus, HP, and Lenovo have launched folding PC a couple of years ago. These devices have a folding screen and are also compatible with a Bluetooth keyboard.

It seems Huawei is now taking a similar approach and making a foldable PC for its consumers. But whether this stunning “rumored” device will debut this month or sometime later is doubtful at present.

The leak further hints that the rumored PC will pre-install the HarmonyOS software system instead of Windows. As per early revelations, MateBook X Pro 2025 was expected to be the first notebook to come with HarmonyOS version. But that may change after the latest input.

Richard Yu, the Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman, said in an interview that the company is readying HarmonyOS PC with “new form factors”. It will bring more surprises to users and enhance the overall PC experience.

Thus, we can expect that the rumored folding PC will unlock dynamic AI features, HarmonyOS capabilities, and a new experience for users. Though an official confirmation awaits on this matter.
