Huawei Router AX3 Pro with Qualcomm chip and HarmonyOS support launched

Huawei relaunched the AX3 Pro router with a new Qualcomm dual-core 1GHz chip codenamed WS7206. The previous version of the Ax3 Pro router was equipped with Huawei’s self-made Lingxiao quad-core 1.4GHz processor codenamed WS7200.

The new router has a similar design as the old one, it also sports four antennas and each individually equipped with an independent amplifying chip. The 2.4GHz chip has an amplifying parameter of 27db and the 5GHz band parameter is 23.5.

The router comes with Wi-Fi 6 standard and has increased in a number of cameras from the old model. It also sports an upgraded to a single 5GHz band with 128 units from dual-band 128 units.

Moreover, the AX3 Pro router supports 1024QAM modulation 160MHz bandwidth, 2.5GHz rate 574Mbps, 5GHz rate 2402MBps. This product also has an NFC function. A smartphone with HarmonyOS or Android system can automatically connect to Wi-Fi without entering a password using the NFC.

This router is specially optimized with the mobile game acceleration function and the mobile game data is automatically transmitted first when it is turned on. Furthermore, it also comes with support for children’s internet protection function, which can be accessed using the Huawei Smart Life app.

It integrates the security of the HarmonyOS system, which supports Wi-Fi password anti-brute-breaking function, anti-scratch network function, and camera security protection feature.

Price and Availability

The Huawei AX3 Pro router is currently available for pre-sale in China and interested users can buy it by depositing 40 yuan. The official sale for this router will begin on September 09, 2021.
