Huawei reveals first HarmonyOS-powered PC 'MateBook Pro'

On May 8, Huawei showed a glimpse of the HarmonyOS-powered PC called MateBook Pro. The company exhibited the real device on-site at the event and allowed consumers to explore a new computer software experience.

Many Weibo tipsters got their hands on the first HarmonyOS PC – Huawei MateBook Pro. The notebook has a smooth texture all over the body and is quite good-looking.

Some tipsters also shared images of the new PC. MateBook Pro highlights a matte texture. The back side reflects “Huawei” branding at the center in silver fonts.

It has a greyish-blue color scheme. The keyboard section has a HarmonyOS logo on one side, implying that the new device supports Huawei’s self-developed OS.

Further inputs say that the HarmonyOS-powered MateBook Pro supports 140W charging with a C-port power adapter. The power button appears at the upper right corner and serves as both a switch on/off and a fingerprint button.

Turning on the PC shows a HarmonyOS logo on the screen. One can easily connect their Huawei phones to the new PC. Not only Huawei but Windows users can also import data on this industry’s first HarmonyOS notebook.

Speaking of the features, the device comes with a powerful Celia AI assistant that can perform multiple operations. Users can ask Celia to create slides, summarize a meeting, retrieve data from local documents, and access necessary third-party software.

On the flip side, the notebook supports many HarmonyOS phone apps such as RedNote, Bilibili, Feishu, and more. It may soon get access to over 2000 native HarmonyOS apps.
