Huawei reportedly records ‘unexpected’ Pura 80 series sales in a month

Huawei launched the Pura 80 series in June 2025 and received a whopping number of sales in the launch month. According to the leaked details, the flagship lineup has made a figure of 200,000 units. But the accuracy of this input is still in doubt.
Weibo tipster @RDobservation revealed that the Huawei Pura 80 series sales have reached nearly 200,000 units within just 15 days of launch, as of June 28.
If true, the figure is about 50% of the Pura 70 series in the same period. On the other hand, the Pura 80 Pro/Pro+ models have contributed around 60% to the sales.
Details further reveal that the Huawei Pura 80 Pro particularly performed well among its siblings, with sales of 160% more than the previous-gen handset in the same period. It has achieved an overall increase of 60% year-on-year.
As per a feedback report, many retail offline stores sold over 50 units of the Pura 80 Pro models on the first day of sale. Moreover, Huawei also ensured to avoid the unavailability of the devices and meet consumers’ demand on time.
The company immediately refilled the stock of Pura 80 Pro and Ultra once they went out of stock. Looks like the company has improved its production capacity this year.

Supply chain sources suggested that Huawei has improved the new Kirin 5G 9020 chip version’s making, which is helping in the overall production of the devices.
Apart from the Pro versions, Huawei Pura 80 Ultra also achieved a 30% hike in sales over the previous generation handset. Thanks to the ultimate imaging technologies, top-notch design, and AI photo-editing tools.
Note: These Pura 80 Pro/Ultra sales details have been shared by third-party sources, and none of the official sites or major research platforms have confirmed the news yet.
