Over the past three years, Huawei remained sluggish in launching a new smartphone in the global market but soon it may change, as the report suggests that the company is preparing to make a full-fledged return.

Reports from Chinese media sources suggest that Huawei has already laid out a plan to large comeback among global consumers. In that case, the company has shifted its strategy for smartphones, keeping domestic unveiling first followed by the overseas introduction.

It’s reported that there are various factors that helped Huawei to think in this way. However, there are two key aspects that gained the company a new confidence.

First comes as Huawei Mate 60 Pro, which was unveiled a week ago and comes as a major breakthrough in the smartphone industry. The phone is currently making buzz all around the internet and Chinese consumers are hunting this new device and waiting in long queues. The sellers are stocking this new device all over the country to participate in this trend.

The current popularity shows that the Huawei Mate 60 series will cross over 10-12 million units in a year. And then if the current pace continues, the number could go up to 15-17 million. These are big numbers and such demand is building Huawei’s trust in the market demand.

Supply chain:

This is the second area that Huawei strengthened after the 2019 US ban. The tech maker built its domestic supply chain and collaborated with local partners. According to a report, Huawei Mate 60 Pro has over 90% of its components built in China.

This is remarkable progress for the company as it is using the lowest number of foreign components to date. These developments also empowered Huawei to focus on building products for global consumers. With an effective strategy, Huawei is also thinking of expanding its device segments, sales channels, and market expansion.

Global Challenge:

A report previously stated that the company may not release the new flagship for global consumers. However, a certification authority indicates that Huawei has already cleared a global variant of Huawei Mate 60 Pro in advance.

For the time being, the findings above remain in reports and we’ll wait for Huawei to mark a full-fledged return in the global smartphone market.
