Huawei releases EMUI/HarmonyOS September 2025 security patch details

Year 2025 has now entered the September month and Huawei is here with new EMUI/HarmonyOS security patch details for its devices. The company has improved and fixed certain troubling issues that have been ruining the user experience.

According to the scope page, the Huawei September 2025 security patch for EMUI and HarmonyOS devices addresses 1 high and 4 medium-level vulnerabilities.

Besides, it fixes around 3 high, 13 medium, and 6 low third-party library defects. These improvements ensure that your phone or tablet remains protected from privacy exploits and doesn’t hamper your efficient user experience.

Most of these issues are related to HarmonyOS 5.0.1 and 5.1 versions. So, if you own the respective software-powered device, then we suggest installing the latest September 2025 security patch as soon as it hits the notification panel.
