Huawei has once again achieved the leading point in China while Apple iPhone sales continue to slide in Q4 2024. According to a new report, the Chinese tech giant is ruling on its home turf and giving tough competition to all other brands.

Apple has been struggling in China throughout the last year due to its iPhone sales drop. It looks like the fall down continued in the fourth quarter of 2024 as well.

Counterpoint now released the Q4 2024 Chinese smartphone market report. The highlight of this analysis is Huawei and Apple’s showdown on flagship phone sales.

Details reveal that Huawei has reclaimed the first spot in China for Q4 2024 while Apple kept struggling for iPhone sales. Other brands in the ranking are Xiaomi, Vivo, Honor, and OPPO with certain highs and lows in the annual growth rate.

Huawei has achieved 18.1% market share in the Q4 2024 Chinese smartphone market. The company’s growth rate increased by 15.5% YoY. A major credit for this achievement goes to the mid-range Nova 13 handsets and the flagship Mate 70 lineup.

Nova 13 series debuted in October last year with the most amazing design and AI photo-editing tools. The device offers not only the best feel to your hands but also glorifies your selfies and group pictures with smarter picture-editing features.

Mate 70 on the other hand, remained the most-awaited flagship of 2024 and amazed consumers with powerful parameters like – HarmonyOS NEXT, Kirin 9020 5G chip, native HarmonyOS app support, new AI themes and functions, and more.
