HUAWEI Qingyun S540 notebook with 12th gen Intel chipset launching soon

Huawei has a new notebook Qingyun S540 that will launch soon with a 12th-generation Intel Core processor. It has a small and compact design for small and medium type enterprises.

Huawei Qingyun S540 features a metal side body with a classic silver color, it has anodic oxidation and precision sandblasting. The notebook weighs 1.39kg, is 17.2mm thick, and is equipped with 1.5mm keys with a backlit keyboard. The tablet supports a large 180-degree opening and closing angle, which could fall flat on a table.

Huawei revealed that the Huawei Qingyun S540 sports a 14-inch screen with 1080P full HD resolution, and an IPS panel with anti-glare technology. It supports a 100% sRGB high color gamut, 16:9 screen ratio, 4.9mm bezels, and is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free protection.

Huawei Qingyun S540 is powered by the 12th generation core processor, up to i7-1260P. The processor adopts Intel 7 process technology, 12 cores, and 16 threads, and the 28W high-performance mode can also be turned on by pressing the Fn+P key. On the flip side, the notebook uses an Intel Iris X graphics card.

Furthermore, the Huawei Qingyun S540 is equipped with a shark fin high-density fan for cooling management under the hood. In terms of memory, this notebook provides a 512GB NVMe PCIe solid-state drive (supports expansion up to 4TB), along with a 16GB DDR4 3200MHz dual-channel memory, which could go up to 48GB.

The notebook takes care to boast long-lasting power, for that, the notebook offers a 56Wh capacity battery, with 65W multi-function fast charging. There are dual microphones that could pick up audio up to five meters in distance.

Looking at the input-output, Huawei S540 brings standard 1 USB-C full-featured interface, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, 1 HDMI 1.4 interface (HDMI 2.0 is optional), 1 3.5mm headphone jack, and the right side is equipped with 1 USB 2.0 interface, 1 RJ45 Ethernet port, and 1 6×2.5mm lock hole.

Moreover, this notebook has a 2×2 MIMO dual-antenna design and supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless networks, which could provide network coverage of up to 2.4Gbps on WiFi 6 routers.
