Huawei Qiankun ADS gets May 2025 update with automatic safety features

Huawei has launched the May 2025 update for the Qiankun ADS smart car solution series. The latest upgrade brings various new features and some automatic driving safety capabilities. These add-ons will enhance the overall driving experience.

The company has added some new features to the Huawei Qiankun ADS via the May 2025 update. Users can explore the horn reminder feature, active feedback feature, high-beam switching in risky situations, eAES feature for new models, and more.

1. Smart Driving Horn Reminder

The feature based on NCA Smart Driving Assistance is the best tool on the highway or an urban expressway. In case you are taking an emergency cut, the vehicle will automatically blow the horn for other vehicles on the road.

2. Active Feedback

In case the NCA Smart Driving Pilot Assist automatically exits while braking or other actions, the car control system will ask users if any feedback is required at that moment.

3. High Beam Switching Feature

The vehicle will enable adaptive turning of the high beam when it detects any risky situation, like cones or accident vehicles. It will auto-disable after preventing the risk.

4. eAES Feature for new models

eAES – enhanced Automatic Emergency Steering feature can automatically take an emergency turn when the AEB braking system stops working or is insufficient. It doesn’t require the driver to turn the steering wheel and avoids obstacles.

The new eAES will be available to SUVs like Lantu Dreamer Qiankun Edition, Luxeed R7, Luxeed S7, and more.
