Huawei Pura 80 series smartphones launch set for June 11

It’s official! Huawei has officially scheduled the Pura 80 series launch for 11 June. After a long wait, the company has finally removed the mist from the exact release time. This morning, it shared the promotional poster on its Weibo page.
Last month, one of the company’s senior executives confirmed the Pura 80 series launch for June. Now, Huawei has officially announced June 11 as the official release date for the Pura 80. The firm also described its new flagship as follows:
“With foresight, beyond what is seen. On June 11 at 14:30, the #HuaweiPura80# series and all-scenario new product launch conference, please look forward to it! #HarmonyOS5#
The launch event will occur at 2:30 PM (Beijing Time). Apart from the all-new Pura 80 smartphones, the company will also unveil some dynamic smart products.

Looking into the teaser, the image highlights a giant camera module with two glossy lenses housed by a thick golden rim. Both lenses seem to be dual-periscope telephoto camera sensors, which will likely appear in the Pura 80 Pro+/Ultra.
A few days ago, the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, He Gang, accidentally revealed one of the Pura 80 variants in front of consumers. The images went live on Weibo, showing the phone’s back side along with a huge camera bump.
While it was unclear whether Huawei would initiate a Pioneer Program for the new-gen Pura handsets, the company has now announced a grand-scale event.
Huawei further confirmed stable HarmonyOS 5.0 for the upcoming Pura 80 handsets. Meanwhile, the key specs and parameters continue to remain a mystery.
Overall, the teaser and the caption imply that Huawei has done notable work in the Pura 80 series imaging technology. Although the ultimate tech and internal features of the new flagship device will be known at the official unveiling.
