After seeing consumers’ excitement, it seems the Huawei Pura 80 series has already become a hit before its release. The flagship models still have time to go official, but the number of reservations hints that the lineup stole the spotlight.
Huawei has opened the blind pre-orders or reservations for the Pura 80 series on June 3. Within 24 hours, the figure crossed 210,000 reservations on VMall.
Today, Huawei launched the Pura 80 Pro/Pro+ reservations, which have reached 65000 in five hours. The consumers’ craze seemingly went out of the box after seeing the official glossy red color scheme of the Pura 80 Pro+ handset.
On the other hand, some leaks have revealed the official first look of the Pura 80 camera bump. The highlight of these images is the all-new dual-periscope unit.
Huawei has not confirmed the existence of the dual-periscope camera unit so far. But the official Pura 80 launch teaser suggests that the company has made great changes to the lens setup this time, enhancing the overall photography aspect.

Huawei has scheduled the Pura 80 smartphones launch for June 11. In the meantime, the firm will probably drop ultimate teasers and promo videos of the new lineup.
These teasers will hype the ultimate aesthetics, camera module design, and mysterious AI features of the Pura 80 series. It will be the first flagship smartphone lineup to run HarmonyOS 5.0 software and unlock impressive capabilities.
