Huawei Pura 80 series could follow Pura 70 screen sizes
Huawei Pura 80 series could follow its predecessor in screen sizes. A new leak suggests that the upcoming flagship lineup may feature the same display sizes as the Pura 70. These displays will probably offer an improved viewing experience.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu noted that after the Mate 70 series, consumers are looking forward to the Pura 80 series. The next flagship lineup is expected to bring major upgrades above the Pura 70 and the newly launched Mate handsets.
The tipster added that the Huawei Pura 80 series has two screen sizes: a 6.6-inch flat display panel and a 6.8-inch curved panel. He further mentioned that the lineup will come with a customized main camera sensor and a new telephoto sensor.
For reference, the Pura 70 models have the same screen sizes as rumored for the Pura 80. The standard variant features a 6.6-inch flat LTPO OLED panel whereas, the high-end models like Pro and Ultra use a 6.8-inch quad-curved display.
Other properties of these display panels include high-definition resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2500 nits peak brightness, 1.07 billion colors, and Kunlun Glass solution.
The Pura 80 series could adopt the same display technology as the previous-gen models. The standard may use the 6.6-inch flat display whereas the Pro, Pro+, and Ultra variants could feature the 6.8-inch curved screen.
