After the Ultra variant, Huawei Pura 80 Pro model started emerging in leaks with camera and display specs. The latest information reveals that the Pro version will likely feature a powerful triple camera setup and a different display solution.

DigitalChatStation allegedly shared Huawei Pura 80 Pro camera and display specs. The new device may equip a flat display instead of a curvy panel. The next highlight could be the advanced camera system, similar to the Pura 70 Ultra handset.

Pro-grade Camera

Huawei Pura 80 Pro may feature Sony’s IMX 989 50MP main camera sensor. While most phone makers use this lens for the highest variant of the flagship lineup, Huawei may change the trend by implementing it in the upcoming Pura 80 Pro.

One can expect a Pura 70 Ultra-like photography experience with the Pura 80 Pro. Apart from IMX 989, the device could feature a 50MP ultrawide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with enhanced macrography.

All these three lenses could integrate RYYB filters to offer improved low-light performance in every aspect. These filters allow more light to reach the sensor in red and yellow wavelengths, compared to RGGB.

Dynamic Display

Huawei Pura 80 Pro is expected to use a 6.78-inch flat screen over a curved option. It may feature a big LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 2.5D sleek design. The device may adopt a super-slim look with the thinnest bezels.

Pura 70 Pro uses a curved screen. However this time, the company may use a quad-curved display for only Ultra model while implementing flat screens to other variants.

Other specifications of the device are unknown. Huawei Pura 80 series could launch in late May or early June this year. By that time, we may hit more revelations on this matter. Meanwhile, you can enjoy today’s Pura product launch event.
