Huawei Pura 80 series is receiving a new HarmonyOS update that brings a set of new camera and theme features. The company is sending the latest firmware after the Pura 80 Ultra model has hit the sales lane, to offer the best “first-time” experience.

According to the changelog, the company has added a new watermark feature that lets you customize the watermark as per the XMAGE color card. Users can now style the watermark in their favorite colors.

The phone maker has also improved the camera performance in various aspects. Users will get seamless functioning while capturing images in the portrait mode, indoor mode, scenery mode, and more. Just install the new update and enjoy the benefits.

Besides the camera features, the Huawei Pura 80 series is getting a new theme-sharing capability. Users can now share their Dancing Cute Pet theme with the Pura 70 series smartphone users and play the interactive game together.

Note that the Pura 70 series should be running on the latest HarmonyOS 5.0.1.130 version. Also, the Huawei Themes app should have 1.0.20.350 update build.

Huawei Pura 80 series is receiving new features and optimizations with the HarmonyOS 5.1.0.122 version and a downloadable package size of 2.55 Gigabytes.

Camera

  • Added a new style of XMAGE personalized color card watermark. You can add a watermark with a color card parameter style when taking photos.
  • Optimized the shooting experience of personalized color cards, and combined the four preset styles into XMAGE style. Click the XMAGE style icons in the upper right corner to quickly select the personalized color card preset style.
  • Optimized camera stability to improve shooting effects in portraits, indoor scenes, etc.

Theme

  • After applying the Dance Forest Cute Pet theme in the new version, users can share the theme with friends who own the Pura 70 series models via the Air Gesture File Transfer feature of Huawei Share Touch to play together.
  • Optimized the display effects of some theme scenarios.

  • Optimized system performance and stability to provide you with a smoother operating experience.
