Huawei Pura 70 Ultra tipped to get elegant red color variant

A new leak suggests that Huawei could introduce a bright ‘festive red’ color variant for the Pura 70 Ultra. The flagship comes in four bashing shades on the user’s ground. But the company might soon add one more unique color scheme to it.

Tipster @FixedFocus noted that Huawei may soon introduce an elegant red color variant for the Pura 70 Ultra phone. Another tipster in the comment section clarifies that the device could get a festive red leather variant based on the holiday theme.

Following the leak, many netizens speculated about the color name. A few named it ‘Spring Festive limited edition color’, while others said it ‘Brilliant Magenta’ or ‘Squatting Red’. Based on the festive theme, the first option seems accurate.

Huawei often launched limited editions of its devices during the festive season. Perhaps, Pura 70 Ultra red leather could be a part of the Spring Fest 2025.

Pura 70 Ultra has four color options: Chanson Green, Mocha Brown, Star White, and Star Black. Both Green and Brown are the new shades in the P series. Now the company may soon bring an eye-catching red leather version to this model.

Even though the tipster didn’t reveal the release time of this alleged Huawei Pura 70 Ultra color option, we can expect to see it by the first quarter of next year.

The device measures 162.6 x 75.1 x 8.4mm and weighs 226 grams. The phone holds a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, 1440z high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling, and FHD+ resolution. It also supports basalt-tempered Kunlun Glass.

Pura 70 Ultra comes out of the box with HarmonyOS 4.2 and currently runs on the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta version. It equips the Kirin 9010 5G chip with the Maleoon 910 GPU. The device supports 16GB RAM and 512 GB/1 TB storage.

It adopts a triple-camera structure housed in a unique triangular frame. The structure holds a 50MP super-focus retractable camera, a 40MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP super-focus macro telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom. On the front, users will get a 13MP selfie camera with various shooting modes.

The smartphone further supports a 5200mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging capability. It has an IP68 rating and supports several AI tools as well as two-way satellite communication with an image-sending satellite service.
